Privacy Policy
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Effective date: October 5, 2026
Knowledge2Ideas, Inc., a Kansas corporation ("Knowledge2Ideas," "K2I," "we," or "us"), builds and operates learning businesses under our current and future learning brands.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to knowledgetoideas.com and to the websites, course platforms, and communications of our learning businesses that link to this policy.
One company operates all of these businesses, so the same company is responsible for your information whichever one you use.
If you take a course through an employer, school, or other organization (a "sponsoring organization"), that organization's own policies may also apply to you.

Our payment processor, Stripe, handles card details. We do not store full card numbers.
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health or financial account details through our forms or courses. Please do not send it to us.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to run our courses and to communicate with you. Specifically, we use it to:
- Provide your account, courses, and course materials.
- Process purchases and send receipts.
- Record your progress and completion, and issue certificates.
- Answer your questions and requests.
- Send service messages about your account or course.
- Send marketing email where the law allows it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Keep our sites and courses secure and prevent misuse.
- Understand how our sites and courses are used, so we can improve them.
- Meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use learner records for advertising.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only in the situations below.
- Service providers. Companies that work for us receive the information they need to do that work. They host our websites and course platforms, process payments, deliver email, issue certificates, and provide analytics. They may use the information only to provide those services to us. Our main providers are HighLevel, which hosts our websites, courses, and messaging, and Stripe, which processes payments. Their own privacy policies also apply to how they handle information.
- Sponsoring organizations. If an organization enrolls you or pays for your course, we share your enrollment, progress, scores, and completion status with that organization.
- Certificate verification. If you earn a certificate that can be verified online, anyone with its verification link can confirm your name, the credential, and the date it was issued.
- Legal and safety reasons. We disclose information when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of our learners, the public, or K2I.
- Business transfers. If we sell or reorganize all or part of our business, personal information may transfer to the new owner, subject to this policy.
We do not use information from one of our learning businesses to market another one to you unless you ask to hear from it.
5. Cookies, tracking, and other websites
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes below.
- Essential. Keep you signed in and keep our sites and courses secure.
- Preferences. Remember your settings.
- Analytics. Measure how our sites are used, through HighLevel's built-in analytics.
- Advertising. Measure our advertising and show our ads on other sites, through the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) and the Google Ads tag.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as staying signed in to a course, may not work without them.
Browser signals. Our sites do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Other websites. Our sites and courses may link to websites we do not operate. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
6. Email
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Service messages about your account or course are not marketing, and we send them as needed.
7. Text messages
We send text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them.
- We use your mobile number and consent only for the kinds of messages you agreed to receive, such as account and course notifications, appointment and session reminders, customer support replies, and marketing and promotions.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We will confirm your opt-out and stop sending. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
- Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of buying anything from us.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, text-message opt-in data, or consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the providers that deliver our messages, such as our messaging platform, message aggregators, and mobile carriers.
8. Learner records and certificates
We keep records of the courses you complete and the certificates you earn, so that you, and anyone you authorize, can confirm them later. Where a sponsoring organization enrolled you, it can see your records for the courses it sponsored.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. The periods depend on the type of information.
| Type of information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Account and contact details | While your account is active, and 2 years after it closes |
| Completion and certificate records | 7 years, so they can be verified |
| Purchase and billing records | 7 years, as tax and accounting rules require |
| Marketing contact records | Until you unsubscribe or opt out. We then keep a record of your choice so we do not contact you again. |
| Text-message consent records | 4 years after your last message |
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.
- Information is encrypted when it travels between your device and our sites.
- Access is limited to the people and providers who need it to do their work.
- Card payments are handled by payment processors that meet the payment card industry's security standard (PCI DSS).
No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete your information. We may need to keep some records, such as completion records a sponsoring organization or a law requires.
- Stop sending you marketing messages.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We will confirm your identity before acting and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request.
If a sponsoring organization enrolled you, we may refer your request to that organization where it controls the records.
12. Children
Our sites and courses are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Visitors from outside the United States
We operate in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you use our sites from another country, your information will be transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version here and change the effective date. If a change is significant, we will also notify you by email or with a notice on our sites.
